Just completed the last of my New Years resolutions today by attending my first Open Pit Lane at Cadwell Park despite some pretty sh1tty weather, so at 6am this morning I decided to remove the Pilot Road 4 from the rear of my road bike and use it as an intermediate on the track bike and pair it up with a rain tyre on the front to save me ruining my rear WOW as the track cleared up.

I've got to say OPL's are the way forward, so much more relaxed. Less busy on track, with a mixed bag of riders from I would say Inters group riders to racers.
No real dramas on track, a small number of red flags mainly from breakdowns and no rush to get back out to make the most of a 20min session like on a grouped day. Also no cold tyres from hanging around in the holding area, just a quick check of your bands & you're off.

Just the one pic as I kept myself busy running in the wet and then changing wheels again as the track started to dry off later in the day.
Plenty of vids from some interesting camera angles, to be uploaded tomorrow.

    Videos on online.
Experimenting with a few mounting positions.

The first one shows the rear shock getting showered by the rear tyre. It also shows someone out braking themselves and getting some air

Finally stopped raining, but still using a wet front and road rear tyre.

Dry line , switched back to Supercorsas.
