Sigma 150-600 sport 5.6-6.3 is dg Not a pro lens by any means but it weigh's what feel's like a ton, fully weather sealed & metal lens hood. On my body it gives me 900mm so bring on MotoGP at silverstone.
Excellent. Looking at one to be able to take pictures of the moon, telephoto lens. Some cheap to very expensive ones about.
I have the Tamron version. Got some great shots at the F1 GP this year. Well impressed for the price but the sigma just edges on overall quality, so will be a great lens for the money.
Nice bit of kit. Out of interest why did you choose the sport and not the contemporary and did you get the docking station with it? With a 600mm lens and a crop factor of 1.6 I think you might need a gimble for moving targets.
Hi mate, I'm not a very good photographer by any means, the sport just suited me better than the contemporary as I'm in the woods or by a race track in all weathers and the sport has a more rugged build also being dust and waterproof.i was told it's more consistent wide open too which for me is where it spends most of its time, I didn't get the station with it but wasn't to fussed as my friend has it, yes it is a bit of s lump to lug about all day but can be used hand held for the faster moving targets.
Have seen this camera mate and does look a good bit of kit but every time I look at other cameras i think I could add a few quid and get another lense.
I know what you mean. Good glass isn't cheap and you have to be quite dedicated to pay the prices. It really doesn't matter if the photos are good or bad its just about getting out there and enjoying what your doing and it sounds like you do, good on ya
Dubai or Abu Dhabi mate? Looks like Dubai going by the damac properties hording in the background? They do like there top end motors don't they!
