It seems in the UK we pay more for a video pass on Moto GP - nothing new here!

Use a VPN to access the Moto GP website through another country’s server and the price is reduced from 199 Euros, to 139 Euros - £125.00, Result!

Go here https://www.vpnunlimitedapp.com/downloads and download the VPN app.

Set it up and use it for the free time trial period.

As soon as you are up and running with the VPN - choose a server outside of the UK - I used Germany.

Then, go and buy a MotoGP video pass by logging back in to the website and you get the cheaper options, including the season pass for 139 Euros.

Once you’ve bought the video pass, log into MotoGP from any country and get the full video feed - NO VPN NEEDED ANY MORE!

    Hope this helps :)

You also get access to the full video archive of races starting from, 1992.

If you buy it before the testing starts it costs about £60/70. This is what I've done for the past 2 seasons and been well pleased with it (but there again, being a pauper, I've only got a 58" telly;))

Are you buying it through a VPN APP, to get it for that price? That's a princely TV for a pauper, haha ;-)

No, straight off of MotoGP's site, but early in the year before they increased it to 140 euros.

I tried this as a one-off, and the thing froze just before the first corner after the start of the race - do you get all that "buffering" malarkey ?

I have been streaming HD and Classic races for the last day, from an iPhone SE, without any problems whatsoever. My net speed is 38 mb/s though.

I might give this another try. I paid for one race and it froze just into the first corner !!! - so never tried it again.

Is the commentary any good ?

I haven't watched live streams as yet, but the archive footage has been fine. Enjoyed the pre-season testing footage, too. It seems good to me.

I watched all the races last year streaming from my MacBook to my telly. It had a slight tendency to freeze but left alone resumed after a couple of seconds.
The commentary was really good, well informed without the one upmanship of other commentators.

I use a lightening connector to HDMI cable, to stream from an iPhone or iPad.

A quick update: all of this season's races have streamed without a single glitch and the picture quality is excellent on a 50" screen [emoji106]

I have let my video pass expire today and Moto GP have offered me a renewal price of £123.00 (same as I paid this season). Is this the best price I will get it for, or is there a better time to buy it? Cheers

I just renewed mine for €139.50.

It has been good, once I found the "No Spoilers" tab.

Commentary has been a bit of the -- "UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!! " -- style of commentary, rather than the measured James Whitham style - if you know what I mean. The commentary will change for next year - although have to wait and see how that will pan out.

Another thing is I do not spend the whole weekend in front of the TV. You can select the sections you want to see - Q1, Q2 different classes, and watch in the evening. I found that the BT TV coverage had expanded so much into chit-chat, which was good, but spent so much more time watching it all.

Technically no problems - it always streamed ok. So happy to renew for the €139.50 for 2018.

(sorry for waffling on in answer to your question !)

D377999D-C1D9-4939-9F55-E28B971EFAE3.png It looks like charge different people different prices ( perhaps based on how long they’ve been with them).
This is what I received yesterday.
