My thoughts go out to those killed and injured and my ex colleagues in the Police service and the other emergency services caught up in events in Westminster today.

Lets hope this incident is brought to a speedy conclusion without any further loss

Seeing the Medical teams running towards the incident without any knowledge of what lay ahead was certainly one of the most powerful images of this tragic event, and the MP who gave aid to PC Palmer
Naturally thoughts go out to the relatives and families of the 3 victims of this insane individual.

I agree. I saw that monologue live last night and just sat there nodding my head in agreement agreeing and thinking that it made a change for a presenter to actually say what most of us were thinking.

Yeah I know TC it was a tounge in cheek comment......but really how many people in Britain could you find that believe the police officers actions were unjustified.

I gathered that was the case. It was my mistake for not putting a smiley at the end of my comment. Sorry.

There will be those who will believe that the Police were wrong to shoot the b@stard or that they over stepped their authority or that their use of force was unreasonable and therefore unjustified.

I am advised that these thoughts are a right and all related to democracy and freedom of speech, or at least that is what I have been told ;)

Going back to the original subject. One bit of good news is that whilst the IPCC are investigating the circumstances, no Police officer is currently under investigation, although I suspect that this may change when they start looking at who left the gates open and access to Parliament was unprotected for a while as everyone went to investigate what was going on
