Hi, welcome to the forum, and what a fantastic new bike....

Take your time getting used to it. Although fairly easy to ride, they'll still bite if you don't respect them...

Hi and welcome, take it easy and adopt the attitude that every car driver is looking to take you out, if local police run rider aware courses get yourself on one, you are never experienced enough to take a bit of advice from professionals.
    Enjoy your new world.

Welcome, it's all about gaining experience, just be mindful of the throttle in damp conditions. That was one thing I under estimated even moving from a 600 to a 1000, it's much easier to spin the wheel with the added torque. Also always be prepared for people to pull out in front of you on a roundabout. It's mainly all about having a bit of fun and using awareness, concentration and anticipation to continuously improve.

    Enjoy the new bike!
