Just googled Maine Coons Ken, had no idea what they looked like, he does bear a resemblance. Hope someone claims him, gawd knows what I'll do if he's still here when the snow comes. Very nervous cat, won't let me pick him up yet, but gradually getting closer.

If he gets cold he'll start looking at you in a whole new light mate. As long as he's got somewhere dry he'll be fine. It's all about letting them think its all their own idea, being friendly. They're opportunistic bastards. That's why the big ones are painted bright orange. To give us all a fair chance of seeing them bloody coming.

Once he lets you get hold of him, get a vet or a sanctuary to check for a chip. I'd be amazed if a cat like that didn't have one.

Cheers mate. A friend of mine having seen the pic has just pointed out that it's inner eyelids are showing (coming up from the inside corners of it's eyes) which could be a sign of it being unwell. Hope not, but makes catching him a bit more urgent, bugger!

Hmm a blow to the head can cause it too. It looks like a collar poking out of its fur. A green one.

You should point out to JD that the chipped ones don't go any quicker or get better economy. Not sure about the warranty on a chipped cat.

He he, would you believe they've actually kissed ken! Ha ha, the dogs more trusting of the parrot mind. Love them both and the parrot is a real talker they are very intelligent and have the skills of a 4 year old so I'm told. When he's in a bad mood boy can he give you a nip with that beak! Geordie is 4 yrs old and Finley's about 5. I think the world would be a worse place if we didn't have our pets wouldn't it. :)

Tony, friends of mine have an African Grey, a aged retriever and a Newfoundland as big as my car. The retriever is as bright as can be expected but the Noofie is as thick as a brick. Consequently, he's had to have his nose stitched twice after jamming it between the bars of the parrot's cage.

Shutty, she certainly doesn't look her age mate.

This is the dog. We think. Not quite sure if he's a dog masquerading as a shaggy rat or a shaggy rat masquerading as a dog. Anyway here he is on the top deck of a London double decker.

I've decided his Kennel Club name would be Count Chewbacca Spirit of Salts Chunky van Womble Legs.

And his boxing name would be The Dreadlocked Dreadnaught.

I laughed for ages when I read that!

I cannot look at him with a straight face anymore. Having said that it's hard to look at him with a straight face...ever.

I don't think I've ever come across a sane Boxer. Outstanding dogs.

    She's a beauty, Barry.
