hi oggy, how are you getting used to the blade now?. i hear you know smithy from trago,s? will understand if you dont want to admit to knowing the headcase (most wouldnt). he,s 1 of my drinking buddys and was raving about your bike last time i saw him. hope its going well!
Hi Oggy she is absolutely stunning mate by far the best lookin Blade I think I've seen! It's strange I have a 2010 Blade which I absolutely love and I had a test ride on the 2012 bike and I was left a bit disappointed I felt it had been softened! Compared to mine it rode like a cruiser and the power delivery didn't seam as instant or as strong! It just didn't feel as plugged in as mine! Saying that I had the LV, K&N,PCV and custom map done on mine at the time but the 2012 felt diluted! I know my other half would love the more composed ride tho! But it just goes to show that you get used to what you ride and there is no doubt that you Blade is a better sorted version of mine! Saying that I would be more than happy to swap you!!!.. In time I'm sure you and your new steed will gel and you will love her dearly
Absolute dog nutz, lovely paint scheme. When I bought my 10 plate last year, I also rode their demo 12 plate, no doubt the 12 plates suspension was a notch up, much better clocks, and better fuelling on part throttle, the only difference for me was the extra 3.5K for a bike that crunches 12 months of commuter miles, it would have like pouring money down the drain, real pity as I preferred it.

No offence intended there are some lovely Cruisers out there lol It's 2wheels on Mon for the nose job mate and I've bought some Victory Red touch up for the arse end Good luck for tomorrow Paul! Hi Oggy, my brother has the big bang R1 and we ride together and swap bikes all the time. Definitely get the PCV, K&N and yoshi ( ) as it makes the blades throttle response much more reactive and instant like the R1's. I know what you mean about the R1 feeling so much more exciting to ride and the blade seeming to do everything for you but once you are pushing it hard you start to appreciate that bit of comfort. The r1 makes you feel like it could throw you off at any time because.... It literally can and will if given half the chance!! That excitement feeling is at a price and the blade will soak up most of the issues that you come across on roads with you hardly noticing. Personally I would only consider an R1 for the track because that is where it feels it truly belongs and is a total dog on bumpy road surfaces. The beauty about the blade is that it fits any situation so I think that versatility shouldnt be seen so much as a weakness but as a major positive but spread across all categories of riding Just my opinion.....
No offence taken, I know how much you love your baby, touch up paint, will this do, or will it eat away until you cave in and replace it Service done, Radiator guard fitted. It was awful day for the weather though, drenched. Bike all cleaned now.
