Looks like the seller has coloured in the sticker, but the end of the exhaust is different to mine, mine doesnt have that slash cut end to it, mines like a coke can with a pipe as u see in pics so id question wether that is a genuine " black edition " or not??????

racefit does look like a quality bit of kit, think they do custom jobs may be an option for me if not to crazy expensive!
One of those would look mint on your bike LC! I'm sure if you took the bike down to them and mentioned the whole of the UK's No1 Fireblade forums eyes were on them they'd do you a custom Black edition for the same dollars as a standard one. £450 + VAT I think

I've managed to blag a fair bit before for articles I've written before, I'm sure with the amount of work your doing to such a high standard the numerous independents supplying parts/electrical/Paint? would be more than ready to offer a few quid off... As already mentioned these guys know word of mouth in an article is worth 10 times an advert in the bag of a mag. still loving the thread btw, keep us all posted.
Agree with Just me mate, that doesn't look like the black edition. Race fit do a mod for it so that a baffle can be fitted, think they just add the slash end, but the actual can on this looks too long. Awesome can, had mine on for almost a year, noting like it on full chat changing through the gears with a HM qs.
I think the one on the eBay link is a racefit growler. Or a modded early black edition like Dave says. Thing with racefit is they are a small firm, their stuff is quality but they are always trying new things and do custom builds for people so can deviate slightly.
Hi fellas, Cheers for looking. Spoke to JK at Racefit and he had a look for me (decent), it's a genuine piece of kit. He told me that sometimes they fab the std Growler end cap on to the black edition to allow the fitment of the baffle (easy to remove). He also said the Item looks like a bargain and if I don't win it then to touch base with him at the NEC and he'll sort me out. Happy days
Quick question guys, will a 2006 ECU fit a 2004 loom? seen a cheap one on the bay, I presume so but wanted to check..
Im not 100% mate but im sure they are different plug pin configuration and you will know that you will need coded key for the ECU is its euro HISS . If a us ECU is purchased with the loom coded keys are not needed
Tug that is a black edition on ebay as have chatted with racefit about black editions if you look in there FAQ section they say about different decals and laser etching being used, also they sometimes vary the end caps for the customer if they specify needing a baffle
