Hi everyone, Met a couple of your member at Loomies yesterday and they encouraged me to join up to this ol' forum. My beloved 2008 Blade has encouraged me further today though, by cracking one of her front callipers this afternoon, when I WAS supposed to be going to Donington tomorrow. So I'm now trying to get hold of a replacement in a mild hurry - got another trackday booked on Tuesday. Does anybody have a left calliper for a 2008 bike that they'd be interested in selling? I've got a full set of callipers here that I removed from my RR6, as far as I'm aware the fitment is the same. I fitted 2011 callipers to mine!!
Thanks for the reply Andrew. I think you're right - most jap bikes are a standard fitment 108mm centres, so you can swap and change. But much as I appreciate the offer, I'm keen to try to find a single 2008, or a pair of later ones - the brakes aren't the bike's strongest point already and doubt that putting the older parts on will help in that regard. Guessing that's why you put the 2011's on yours! Ta anyway
