you are welcome pal. looks like you have it covered.
akro claims the unit with cat and exhaust valve cable is a straight swap with no need for any engine / fuelling mod.
anything else, would most probable mean a PC and a dyno setting up session (= deep pocket)

give us an update once you have had this done and any before / after comment. :)

I prefer the look of the Akrapovic. Stainless steel with black writing on.

Always preferred the look and cost of the Yoshi to the Akra.
Sound wise, I can even tell the difference, but like the sound of both.
However....... having seen the Racefit one, I actually like the look and of that.
No idea on the performance enhancements of all full systems though.

It's just a pitty the Leo Vince Gp Pro Evo II aren't readily available any more! I would definitely vouch for it with it's angry bark, it sounds absolutely wicked! :D Although it's looks divided opinions! I love the look and it's raw menacing sound ;)

IMO if you ride mostly on the road Akro (the road legal version), why because it has the power valve. Nice torque down low then it opens freeing up the BHP up high.

Hey guys, have any of you noticed a massive loss in torque after fitting a slip on to your blade?
My 2014 feels like a 600 with the road legal akrapovic fitted. Wide open throttle in 1st or 2nd doesn't scare me... On a litre bike, It probably should lol. Gets a bit better with the baffle in, but what's the point of having it then?

Hey mate I think it must a combination of the new head on 14 bike and or the cat also needs a PCV and custom map! When I fitted mine there is big improvement in torque and more responsive throughout the rev range! It's only slightly down on initial take off but nothing worth mentioning really! The stock can strangled my Blade! It's like a rocketship now night and day honestly! Also the weight loss makes it more flighty it feels like it wants to lift in 6th above 6k it's assault on the senses quick!:D EPIC ;)

Personally I've never ridden a 14 Blade but I felt when the 12 came out and I had a go it wasn't as brutal as mine it felt a lot softer not just suspension wise but power delivery also

Can't comment on a standard 2012 as had mine delivered minus the cat with a scorpion instead, and it feels amazing. Having ridden the 600RR7 for 6 years before that it was night and day with regards to the torque. Would frequently red line the 600 and only time i noticed the front lift was if i dropped a few gears and pinned the throttle open for an overtake.
What with the twisty roads up here and the way the blade pulls i rarely see the first shift light come on at 10,000rpm,never mind the red line:)

It'll be all those cups of tea with the fish suppers that made it feel softer:D
Standard suspension settings were a bit soft, got mine sorted now and feels so much better:)
As for the speed, didn't you know the more red colour a bike has the faster it is:D
