Easiest way is to either get the akra headers or fit 13 plate headers to the 14 plate

Is the link pipe different or are you guessing it is?

The Termi I had fitted on my Blade came with 2 diff cables for the exhaust flap as this was the only diff between the ABS and Non-ABS Bikes

When I looked into this before (at that time I was wanting to fit a Honda Non ABS one to an ABS bike). I received the following reply from Performance Parts Limited "I'm afraid the ABS model uses a completely different link pipe too".

Honda do list 2 different part numbers, one for ABS and one for Non ABS. The 2014 part number is different again.

    Cheers,

    Ian.

    Don't see why though?

The ABS design does not impact on the link pipe or the end can so can't see why they'd make 2 diff versions.

The 2 diff part numbers maybe just that the same link pipe is packaged in diff box's with diff cables?

Agree, but asked the question before and there are 2 different versions - when I Google it I get a previous thread I posted http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/12335.htm

I thought I read the 2014 is different and pre 2014 silencers (of any type) don't fit?

Think the 14 plate bikes have a double catalyst, one in the headers and another in the end can, or the certainly have different header pipes with a new shape near to where the end can joins then.

Anyone know any more on this? Can I just get a 2014 Akra link pipe and use the older Silencer?

I think there's only the one cat on 2014 models and it's part of the headers, right at the end where the can slips on. The diameter of the cat outlet is now 60mm ish not 50-51mm on models up to 2013,
the cat is a welded part of the headers so difficult to remove without some effort, I'm pretty sure there's no cat in the standard end can as it's noticeably lighter now.
I looked into fitting my Leo Vince onto my new bike but the link pipe now clashes with the cat which is about 100mm in diameter, I could make it fit and I have a stainless 61-51mm adapter but the bends
are wrong and a degree of "cutting and shutting" is required, couldn't be arsed so bought a Racefit !
I think you'd be needing a different link pipe if they make that yet, not a huge amount of options out there for 2014 models...
