No you won't need new grips.

It's not bad to fit but you are messing near sensitive areas, throttle bodies, air intake and a boat load of electrics. I'd say its a 6/10 for difficulty. It will probably take you about three to four hours if you've never been under the airbox before and can wield a spanner pretty good. If you've had the box off in the past it'll be two and a half hours tops.
If you're not over confident come over to rhyl and we can do it one evening.

Oh and I think it's gone from about 1/3 to 1/4 turn (give or take)

Without sounding daft.. but im intrigued as this will be my next upgrade as I have a fused wrist.. and i'm either full throttle or nothing at all. So a quick action will.give me better use. However can I just change the tube grip for a hrc one or do I have to change throttle cables also to compensate ?

No need to change the cables but you do need to do some adjusting at the throttle bodies.

If you plan on getting a QS, do them both at the same time. I did my QAT and then a week later got the QS so had to strip it all again lol.

I lost some wrist mobility in a crash and HRC throttle lets me ride 100% normally

I've got the gp, just waiting for a shift rod before its maiden voyage.

I wouldn't bother with the aftermarket filter weather I had a pc or not, I've never really seen the point, the best you could hope for is a couple of bhp, but most of the time you won't even get that.

Just go for the tube posted earlier in this thread (post #17), easier to fit and a 1/4 of the price.

Can you just give me. A breakdown on what this is going to achieve.. I've brought it now. However I understand it's a 1/6th turn now but standard throttle cables accept it ? Butterflies in the throttle body be ok with it all ? Difficult to fit..?

AFAIK, stock is 1/4 turn, HRC is 1/6th turn.
