It took less than three days to get here as well which was impressive.

I paid same for shock and $90 of postage. We'll wait and see what the duty will be but I've got them to address it to the family, coz apparently you get some relief as its not to an individual, (heard it on here so we'll see).
Three days would be a dream.. Ordered some gloves from states a few weeks ago and took 2 days to get from chicago to heathrow, then 8 days to get from heathrow to my house, then royal mail took the liberty of charging me a further £8 for internal postal services and admin, WTF...
Ohlins by the weekend would be the absolute nuts tho...

And tell him your weight and he'll spring it to suit for no extra charge, which is a result !!

They sent it via DHL, so you could track it's progress via there website. I was really surprised how quickly it got here.

Darren at MCT suspension told me what shock spring to ask for, as he said they usually put in to stiff a spring for your body weight. He advised that if you were going to give them your weight tell them you are two stone lighter than you are and that way you'll end up with the right spring weight.

Yesterday a load of carbon arrived...
After great hassle drilling and re-tapping the middle hugger hole i thought id try on my new sexy hugger. Ive seen slating on here about Powerbronze stuff, but they did the nicest hugger i could find, so rolled the dice and got one. Looks lovely, but rubbing on the tire is probably not good and not the look i was going for :(
Contacted them just now and after establishing that i do have a standard sized tire and its not the bikes fault, they are gonna try again and send me another to try... Fingers crossed..[IMG][IMG]

Had one of them, sold it as I upgraded to a 55 profile tyre.

I had one of these too but was never happy with the fit. Didn't seem to fit straight and ran close to the tyre on the right hand side. Ended up going with one from pyramid plastics which had a really good fit. Only downside with that one is you can't run a 55 tyre with it.

Spent a couple of hours removing 9 years worth of solid crud and chain lube build up ! Tried foaming citrus degreaser, carb cleaner, chain cleaner, but the best thing was silicone spray lube !
Finally got through to the chinese and got my fairing order Sorted... Gloss black, with matt black belly pan and no stickers or logos anywhere ! Postie brought a couple more bits of Ti and carbon tank pad.. Been waiting for Demon Tweeks to get back to me about missing 02 eliminator, and tonight i thought id have a little play with my Gilles rearsets only to discover the light switch bracket is missing too

Got damn cold down in the garage so decided to decamp and regroup in the kitchen to strip and clean my rear brakes... Warm, easy tea access, nibbles, sorted ! Mrs wasn't best please judging by her expression... In about 20 minutes she is going to realise her tooth brush is missing ! And yet again, I'm guessing she's not going to be best pleased ;)

When you've finished just give the toothbrush a quick spray with brake cleaner, rinse off and put it back. She'll never notice. :D

They're only about 40p for a pack of 2 from Tesco. I go through loads, that's why I have a great smile

Just thought, be careful with the hugger too, as the carbon edge can mark the swingarm!
