    Hi Gcon
Do you know if this would fit an 07 plate and also does it come with the link pipe?
    Many thanks

Hi mate. Sorry - forgot to photo the link pipe.

Yes this is included along with another spring.

Edited: This exhaust will only fit 2006 and 2007 models.

I was so close to getting a yoshi but wasn't crazy about how much it sticks out at the back. Love the look of the akro and can't wait to get it fitted ;)

Hi Okeloon. Funnily enough I plan on fitting mine tomorrow on my day off. Hadn't bothered sooner as the bikes been tucked up for the winter. Hoping on getting out on it at the weekend though as long as the weather holds:D

Can't imagine the fit would be to difficult. I've had a good look through the instructions on the akrapovic website and it looks straight forward.

Installation was nice and straight forward. Putting the new pipe on was a breeze. Had a few issues removing the original pipe though. Both the bolts on the link pipe brackets were completely siezed and rusty to the point where the heads didn't even look like bolts. Luckily hammering a smaller size socket gave me enough purchase to sheer off the heads so I could remove them.
The new exhaust sounds awesome. So much louder and meaner than the original. Not hurt your ears loud though. ;)

Are you running baffle-in or baffle-out though? I run baffle-out as that was mine was mapped to, and I've had to invest in some good quality ear plugs. I do pity my neighbours when I set off for work at 6:30am :D

I went out on the first ride with the baffle out but might have to keep it in until I get hold of a power commander and get it mapped. Was a bit of a pig at low revs

Before mapping mine was un-rideable with baffle out... nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, POWER!!!!
Was like riding a bucking bronco.

Since mapping, it's amazing... fabulous noise and flawlessly smooth.
