Is anyone with a 2012/13 getting this clicking clunking noise over bumps. My honda dealer say they cant hear it. They have checked the head stock bearings I think its from the forks. Is it normal for bpf. I cant believe it is it sounds like something is broken. In the video it does it at 4.26 and 5.10. I found this video of someone else with same problem he has not found a solution either. Warranty runs out soon so I need to know whether to persist.

    Thanks

    Phil

My 2012 model is fine - not noticed any issues - and there are plenty of bumps around the Yorkshire Dales!

It has be a 'down' bump but yep I thought it seemed to sound harsh but both of my 12's have made the noise. Apart from that the suspension is sublime compared to the 2007 & 2010 I've had

I've got 2012 BPF fitted on my 2011 blade - got the same noise as on the video but I only notice it at the start of the ride. I either get used to it or it goes as the oil warms up - don't think its anything to worry about. I had a SV650 a few years back you should hear the noise the forks made on that - caused by the oil locking up the suspension over certain bumps.

Yeah mine does it as well, didn't do it from new, just started about a month ago, sounds like it's bottoming out, when it hits a bump !

God I must 'kin deaf. Couldn't hear anything over the lovely noise of the exhaust :) Good advert for this exhaust slip on - I'll add it onto the list. The bike goes over bumps at c2:30 & 2:40 into the VT & def couldn't hear anything unusual.

Same here, although mine do click also. I think it is the plastic pre-load piece that is hitting the inner stanchion when the shock is off load.
