hi,just to let you know i bought a 2010 blade a month ago,it was mint but ran like a bag of poo after a 100 miles, turned out the engine was from a 2008 and the bottom end had gone, anyway i took it back and got my money back,i didnt check the engine number because it was such low mileage and had history, but low and behold it was a wrongen,a race engine in a stock bike (the old swaparoo!). the said bike is still for sale,i wont say where but i will say to check the numbers, they are inbetween the downpipes, you can see them clearly.
the one i have now is all good, albeit a year older but at least it is numbers matching!!! i have learned a valuable lesson!!

oh no, yeah im terrible for checking stuff like that if the bikes mint!

Ive just sent my logbook off with the new engine details to the DVLA, worried that they may kick off for some reason but guess they shouldn't.. Now is when I find out the motor is nicked!! Knew I shoudnt have picked it up from the seller around the back of that ESSO garage! :D
