Was in the news and on here some time ago. I keep mine TAx disc under the seat and same in the kit car. never been a issue for the past few years of doing so
They are putting up special ANPR monitoring systems to police this new project. I saw some at the roundabout by The Crossgates Café outside Rhyader in Wales. Big black jobs on high poles, located at each of the four exits of the roundabout. My concern is that not only will they be able to be used for policing tax payment but the national system will be able to automatically track your every movement and the speed of it !! Real Big Brother stuff !! Have a little think about the true capabilities of this system. Quite worrying and no doubt, apart from a flurry of NIP's landing through your letterbox, it opens the door to the road charging system they were muttering about some years ago. You may as well have a policeman and the taxman riding on board with you !!!! The system will no doubt cost billions to install and the purpose will certainly not be limited to checking that you have paid your car or bike tax!! This has been slipped in the back door very quietly and I believe that there is very dark intent behind it all. This will not end well !
