Rain lights

Just reading an email from No Limits and its been decided that from Jan 2015 rain lights must be fitted to all race bikes competing.. They also state that there will be 8 rounds again with new circuits, I'm thinking Oulton will be back on

 

rain lights are across the board now I think,as is the brake lever guard.

 

don't think you need to worry though matt,you wont be going out in the rain will you?

 

A racer of your caliber would of course have this kit fitted already so thanks for bringing it to the attention of ( others ) not as well qualified

 

This is correct i won't, however rain lights must be fitted and work when wet or dry

 

Will these 'Rain' lights be sumat that needs to be on all the time or just when it's declared a 'Wet' race?


Noticed a guy at Donny last Thursday chasing down Bimbo who had one shinning away even though it was dry?

 

I am well up to date with ACU rules as you point out, just thought i would warn others as well as informing my extensive pit crew

Yes and I think all the novices among us ,are looking forward to the series of forthcoming talks you have lined up .

 

they don't need to be on all the time though,well nt as I understand it.maybe you should go do some more studying....

 

they only need to be on when race control / clark of the course declare poor visibility
