Damn, i was thinking about your track day when the sun came out earlier, thinking i wish i was there.
Bummer how it damaged the nose cone like that. Still, that's your track fairings sorted.

Glad you managed to ride out some of those demons and hope you don't feel too sore.

Cheers all. Not sure what happened. Was going round a left hander and it slid out from under me. Unfortunately no one saw it and I don't know if I lost the front or back wheel, first I was aware of it was thinking "this is a strange view, why is my bike sliding away from me?".

The track was dry but there was a slight drizzle at time but I don't think enough to cause a problem. Was on about lap 6 so tyres would have been warm enough. Best guess is that I either got on the gas too earlier which unloaded the front and allowed it to let go, or the map I put in the PC3 yesterday was a bit jerky at low revs. Either way it is annoying not to know as would help stop me doing it again.

Managed to do the rest if the sessions. Big shout to Patracking ( http://www.patracking.co.uk ) who did a great job straightening my gear selector rod which allowed me to carry on riding. Have to admit that I was crap on the remaining sessions, probably knocked my confidence back a fair bit and undone my recent gains in cornering confidence.

Did manage to improve on the last session but was still left behind by people I had been comfortably riding with before the off, but hey-ho such is life.

Damage wise a need a nose cone, new crash bung, new swingarm protector, and new paddock stand lift. The engine cover protector did it's job and now looks somewhat worse for wear, but should be ok for a while. Luckily as it was a "nice" crash the crash protectors did their job. Will post details pictures later.

In the mean time the search has started for a new nose cone :)
