Hello all, Just bought myself my first shiney new Blade, after a good few years on various bikes touring, cummuting and working as an instructor for a brief period. I've had VFR800, Suz GSF6, BMW 11S and 12S and latterly a Triumph Tiger 800. Currently working in Africa until the end of the year, so my new blade will be sat waiting for me at home in Maidstone. rather frustrating.. new bike is the 12 model without ABS, in TT Legends paint. Oh, that's going to be hard, knowing it's there yet not even being able to go out and take it for a ride, or even give it a polish.
I'm in the forces, part of a training team working out here for awhile. I've been trying to think of any reasons why I could escape work and nip home to take it out in the good weather, not coming up with anything yet.. I bought it from Doble, they had a TT Legend on their website, but it was already sold. I really wanted those colours and they've arranged the paint at Dreammachine for free. Bargain.!! I actually saw a 2012 Blade in downtown Nairobi last week, he's bloody optimistic on these roads..
