Been out today for a few hours, about 5 mile from home i noticed the HISS light flickering very quickly and intermittently. Also when the bike is turned off the light stays on solid rather than flash. Any idea what this could be guys? Checked the battery connections both seem ok.
Had a similar experience with mine a few weeks ago, I just reset it as per the owners handbook not had a problem since. Turn ignition switch to on With odometer is displayed (top button) push and hold top button for 2 seconds The immobiliser system indicator comes on and the blinking function is set to go on and off Turn ignition switch to off and remove key. Thanks for reply. Bikes 2013 so different dash but will have a look to see if i can follow similar procedure.
Had a read of the manual and set the hiss indicator to the off setting. Light still remains permanently on. I have disconnected the battery which also had no effect. Had a long ride planned for tomorrow, typical lol.
There doesnt seem to be much on google when searching for this problem. Bike still running but as soon as its on the light is flickering like crazy. Bike off and light remains static.
