Did you have a go mate?

They need suss setting up from stock, and IMO need 1 tooth down on the front then they feel like a GP bike, stock the feel a bit gutless, they make 174 with the race can but JHP can flow the heads and get 200 with out much problem, they did one with full MoTech and engine work that made 210 at the wheel! NICE!

I did not, he did offer me a go but I reluctantly said no lol

He has had this for a while and has gone to a 17in rear wheel also. Incredible bike to work on and so easy to fit a shifter too!!

Phh you should have had a go mate....lol Yeah 17inch OZ rear wheel looks much the same as the £7500.00 mag rear! Only you get a choice of tyre rather than just the BT-01! Mind you I like the OEM tyre its a monster!!!!

    A mate/custs with full GP system :)

And Shakey with my mate Dave at SS :)

IMO anyone who does not like the Desmo is Green or Bike GAY!

This one has the race team fairings apparently like the pic of Shaky's? Only 200 off those he said. Notice the back of his is a different colour to the production one?

Yeah the stock pannels are often changed as they clock in at £10K for the whole lot!!! The ceramic carbon heat gaurd alone is around £500! Most got aftermarkets and got them painted, dont know of any "propper" team race panels?

The bike Shakey is on belongs to my mate Dave, Dave said to him:- Bet you cant wheelie my Desmo down the main straight of Silverstone....lol! Shakey said: Bet I can..... Guess what! He could....lol Never rode one before then and said it was awsome, better than his Althea WSB Ducati (1098RS)! He even was drifting the Desmo into turns!!! Thats the same Desmo I rode on a few test rides! Awsome! A once in a lifetime chance that I will never forget!

Good man, I keep trying to sell HM to BMW owners but they dont get it, they all claim they have one already.... I keep telling them they dont but....the lights are on and no ones home springs to mind...lol Its a shame as the only thing in my mind the S1000RR lacks is a quality quick shifter.... :D

You'll kick yourself later about not riding the D16RR mate...

    well....

The guy coming in this afternoon runs ours on all his bikes and before he got the Beemer he said he would have no need for ours on it. He has only ridden it half a dozen times since he got it and we got the pleasure of swapping it over.

Have they not renamed it from a quick shifter now to a Gear shift assistant or something?

@arthur, what's with the orange lip on the inside of those OZ wheels? To reduce the rim turning in the tyre?

They look lush, very, very similar design to my PVM's.

On the Desmo they have supplied plugs on the frame and we developed our shifter for the Desmo to plug directly in to them so you dont even have to lift the fuel tank or nothing. Take the side fairings off and everything you need is right there. One plug on the left hand side and the other is on the right hand side. Could not believe it was as easy as the manual makes it sound :)

Interested to read about the BMW, 3 mates have got them - one a 2012 Sport with 'Shift assist' and 2 with 2012 with 'shift assist' - Should I point them the way of the HM QS? What is the feedback from the one you fitted to this BMW ?
