I've had an idea in regards to painting my exhaust black...I like the sound of the Bos so in no hurry to get anything different so thinking about masking the tip and the badge and spraying it black..

How do you think it would look and also what's the best paint to use that doesn't mark easy, obviously it has to be heat resistant and do I/can I use a lacquer on top for a shine, if its done Ok I think it will look good on my bike but what do you think?

I used vht paint in the past, very high temperature it's a matt finish. Can you not wrap in a carbon sleeve of some sort

They don't do a sleeve for this afaik.. I done the cat on my r1 before with the high temp matt stuff but it marked quite easily.

I'd leave it tbh, and get an infil panel to cover the pipe instead.

That does look nice Phantom. I just wonder how easy it is to clean. Cracking finish though.

Yea see I like that..if I could then find a infill that I can somehow fix to the link pipe I would be happy....getting the panel is the easy part...fixing it to the pipe not so easy as they are all fab'd with their pipes in mind
