Well guys I've to register at Knockhill at 0900 hrs tomorrow mornin for my first trackday and I'm as excited as a dog with 2 knobs! The weather is to be perfect! Dry with light winds and partly cloudy! Can't wait to lose my virginity
Have a great day, don't be like me.... All excited and cocky and end up grass tracking first lap out because I think I know the track from you tube footage lol But as soon as you feel comfy, spank it
Hi Trev I popped my track day cherry there also. Only passed my test about 2 months before hand. I don't think I've been as excited or scared on a bike since. The first corner is a beaut. Not sure if that's because I felt as if I had survived every time I came through the other end of it or not though Hope you have a good 1 mate. Atleast you've got the weather.
Cheers guys! I'm not long back from the Isle of Man and the weather was shocking! Only 1 day of 7 that I could take on the mountain course! My better half felt sorry for me so got me the track day as a treat! Have I ever mentioned how much of a lucky twat I am I hear u Jamie but I will try my best to stay on the black stuff and as Colin says it's a bit of a challenge! Virginity describes it well! As I remember it was excited but was brickin it at the same time
And like then try not to git to excited and end what should be brilliant to early Bugger was that just mine lol Have a great one fella
Few on track tomorrow, you at Knochill, others at Mallory (95db day) and me a RAF Valley We have all fallen on a great weather weekend by the looks of it.
Rock & Roll! Slow & steady wins the race pal. First couple of sessions, just learn the track & find your lines. Remember, it's not a race! Have fun! Build up your speed, have fun & by the end of the day you'll be lapping people that were faster than you at the start. Don't ride the last session, you'll be tired. So speaks the Vino
keep it on the black stuff and have a ball , you will be driving your car from now on , because after riding your bike on track you wont see the point in riding on the road any more
Wicked!! Enjoy. As v says, if your feeling tired come in and be honest with yourself for the last session if your shattered miss it. Alternatively sit out the second to last then go out on the last where itll be dead quiet
Well I think I'll be supporting an erection for sometime to come! It was absolutely EPIC!!!.. thanks Jamie. There was a few casualties, 6 in all no one seriously hurt! But I managed it unscathed my leathers are still white and my HRC paintwork still shiny but I have melted me tyres
Addictive is the word. I'm sat here glancing at the photo of me on my track day and am already itching to do it again!
Yeah definitely addictive already looking at track evenings! They also do reverse track sessions! Now that sounds nuts! Oh and how amazing does the Leo Vince Gp Pro sound at full chat without the baffle
Hi guy thanks for all your comments and support just thought I would post this video of the day! I'm the last bike on the video I was late for that session! So I was playin catch up! I have to be honest I do get a get a slight semi when I hear my bikes overrun http://s1053.photobucket.com/albums/s466/Trevor_Parris/?action=view¤t=VIDEO0005.mp4
