Can't seem to find one answer to this...... my rear tyre is a 190/50 ZR17 and the front is a 120/70 ZR17.

Can't see em being any different to others so i'd say 38f/42r as standard for the road, although i like 36/38 just my preference.

One thing I've learnt recently, is that tyre pressures are as personal as suspension settings.
I always used to stick religiously to 38/42... but following encouragement from a mate, I have been dropping them a tad, and generally having an experiment... found that I much prefer 36/38... my mate runs 34/34, but then he is a couple of stone lighter than me.

The book says 36/42, but like Gappy says, it's very suck it and see.

Find someone who will personalise you suspension set up for you Hudson. Cost you between £50 and £75 and it'll give you a much better feel of what the different tyre pressures will do for you.

I've got a PDF workshop manual for the 954 if you want a copy. PM me somewhere to post it to.

I've always run the manufacturer's recommendation of 36/42 but recently I've lowered it a bit to 36/38 and seem to prefer it.

Thanks for that, I have already had the suspension sorted. I bought an Ohlins rear shock and had it serviced, fitted and set up by KAIS, at the same time i also got them to set up the front shocks after they had been sorted with new fork oil. It does ride very nice already but i always like to make sure everything is right.
