Another massive thumbs up for Kriega. The R30 is actually 100% waterproof straight out of the packet. Ideal size for a weekend away too. Very comfy, very stable at joke speeds and the harness arrangement is genius. R25 is a great bag too but is only water resistant. Stick a us20 on the back seat and that's a nice little touring setup.
nice..for those wondering what a US20 is Kriega US-20 Drypack - RevZilla guessing ideally placed on the rear seat then the rear cowl as it may scratch it?
Yep, I'd be happier with it on the seat although the 4 nylon anchor cords are best secured to bits in the bike (under the seat) rather than the seat itself.
Kriega have recently re-designed the attachment by adding the metal hooks to the straps, some additional loops to the packs themselves and suggest attaching the nylon cords to the subframe where possible. This has allowed them to increase the recommended weight limit.
R25 plenty of space for a weekends kit and comfortable to wear. Used mine going to the Ring, pissed down for over 70% of the journey down, stuff only a bit damp at 120+. I'd recommend it.
my r20 arrived today...looks small but wont know till i use it.. i think little too big for daily use...think i may get the add on for the back just in case..this bag will stay in storage till i travel i guess.. will defiantly need a r15 for daily use.. ordering this in the morning.
