So after lots of people wanting to get another forum meet arranged i just want to put this out to see how many people think its a good idea. I have asked to make sure no other meets will be happening in the near future so here goes. As many of us attend the northern meet and the wales meet me and lee thought it would be a good idea if we could have 1 big meet somewhere inbetween the 2. I was thinking of a run around the peak district area as this is quite central and i hope will attract an even better turn out. lee also told me speed cameras are everywhere down there so if anybody has good knowledge of this area your input will be very welcome on how to avoid them and to help plan a route. How does sunday 2nd september sound to everyone. i know this is quite soon but winter is on the way so dont want to leave it too long
Whole of Derbyshire and the Peak District is a 50mph limit - lots of police at weekends - for a forum rideout its a challenge at best - there are some great roads don't me wrong - just a nightmare with the limits. Also lots of history with the Dambusters, Cat and Fiddle pub, Matlock Bath and loads more places to stop for a brew. Others with better knowledge may advise otherwise - but if def. needs careful planning.
Knock it in the head dude we can all have a brew at home .For me the Wales Run but from Hereford over Welshpool ect i don't know the roads but Lee or others should be able to advise.
Whitchurch (raven) , Leominster , Hereford , Builth wells , Llandrindod wells, Crossgates , Newtown , Welshpool ,Oswestry . Only a thought

Peaks are full of rozzers mate, and limits. It's poo really. Like giv said, a49 to Hereford, Welshpool then surrounding roads.... They are ace! Cat and fiddle is a joke these days due to the cams, as is Buxton etc with their 50 limits. Heavily policed by the bib too. The run from Welshpool to Aberdovey is fab, great roads, great scenery and fast as you like, quite quiet as far as rozzers go too, with minimal cams.
Nice idea but it sounds like the cops have spoilt that area (I've never ridden them yet) any other suggestions for a central meeting point?
Be good to see the blades hit the peak! i see a few now and then matlock sunday.. but be great to have a big forum meet cops wont mess with 100's of us!
