So I ordered the Jardine RT5 exhaust as really liked the look of it. Different here in the UK. Exhaust arrived with damaged end cap. No issues I thought and contacted the seller. New one gets sent. Wrong size. Contact the seller. Another one sent... DAMAGED 3 weeks later... Seller basically gets the hump and says he wont replace it and send the whole exhaust back for a refund! I think he thought I wouldn't send it back. WRONG it went with fed ex today. REFUND PLEASE! Also noticed when I removed the baffle (that i purchased seperatly) that the packing material from the can was coming out of the exhaust somewhere. So not the best quailty! Have to be honest as well after running it for 200 miles or so, I wasnt that happy with the sound. It kinda sounded like a race bike crossed with a offroad scrambler. Well thats how a mate described it! It did scream!! Where as I was behind a blade at work last night that had the Yoshi R77 fitted and it sounded the nuts! Nice deep tone. So I just ordered the Yoshi R77!! How the blade looked with the Jardine... pics to follow with the R77!
Crap when things fall short of expectation and then to add more problems only just compounds the disappointment and lack of faith in the product, shame really as it looks quite smart from the pic. I think once your R77 is on all will be right in the world ..
Oh, and because your returning it due to a fault the company you bought it off have to pay the postage fees.
There's a lot of competition for the title of old, miserable sod around here Swiss, so careful it don't come down to a vote mate.
I'm in the process of changing my exhaust, I went for the Leo Vince GP Pro after listening to them all on Youtube, too late if youv'e bought the Yoshi but check out youtube and compare the 2
I looked at that to but not keep on the look of the Leo and after hearing the R77 on a blade the other night I think it' sounds sweet! R77 vs stock exhaust. YOSHIMURA R-77 vs O.E.M EXHAUST CBR 1000RR - YouTube
Ok, Opinions are like A holes we've all got them. Check out "2008 Honda CBR1000RR Leo Vince GP Pro Drive By" on Youtube, all its missing is the Leo Vince side panel to conceal the pipes to make it number 1...............in my opinion!!!!!!! Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGRURX5Gguw
I tend to agree, it depends on the bike, i have a 954 and the OEM can is horrible ! So virtually every after market can looks better (I have a Titanium Quill), but on the RR4-RR7 i think the stock underseat one looks lovely, in fact i think most aftermarket cans on that model of blade looks wrong, they just don't fit in with the lines of the bike. The only one that looked as good was a carbon look Akraphovic which had been fitted without any gaps around the tail unit.... looked the mutts nuts, but that is about it really. And for the RR8 and beyond, its also a bit hit and miss really.
I can find an exhast I like as much as the jardine now lol apart from one made by someone called Competition werkes I think it is but I have no knowledge of them or cost
The competition Werkes can sounds good, I'm not sure if it has a plug in point for the Lambda sensor due to American Blades don't have them. This may prove problematic when fitting to a UK bike unless you fit a power commander.......more expence!!! It also look like a dogs dinner underneath due to not having a panel to extend the belly pan.
I agree!! Best looking exhaust, IMO... Looks like proper factory kit!! But I heard that they are LOUD!!!! As in fail noise test on track day loud...
