    I'll be getting some of this when I respray the bike over winter.

    Keep an eye on ebay, I managed to pick up a set on there for less than £40.

    I helped my mate fit one of these kits to his 1199 and it took about 7 hours. Was pretty straightforward apart from some very tight corners where we struggled to get it to stick well. Has anyone else had a go at fitting themselves, any tips?

    I have it on mine but would never have the patience to do it myself.

    Yeah I fitted mine myself, as you've said it something that can't be rushed.
    I just took my time and kept everything wet and soapy, I did one panel at a time with them off the bike!
    Warming it with a hair drier helped a bit on corners.
