I went to my local dealer Marshalls and got a plaque for turning up on my bike. Meet a nice guy who lives a town close to me who joined the forum as fireblade46 last night. I also had a fella wanting to buy my bike and willing to pay top money (but then offered 7.5k) he seemed rather shocked when I spat hog roast out laughing at his offer. What an idiot.

 

No sorry Al, Colin only had about 25 to give out.

 

I didn't realise this was happening till fairly late yesterday, otherwise I would have headed up!

Went to HGB's in Ruislip Manor.

Some disinterested kid put my code into a computer and said I might get a call/text by three.

Nothing. Bollocks, and no free gift either.

 

I was going to head off the my local Honda dealer with my code, but had a family emergency come up and had to hire a van, drive to Falmouth (345 miles away) and pick up my daughter along with all her belongings and bring them all back to Grantham, so i missed the event

Got stuck in few A30 and M5 traffic jams (as per usual on those roads) , and now I am back in sunny Grantham only to find that summer has once again buggered off?

It's a good ploy, you would be amazed at what some people will pay silly money for on fleabay.

 

Spare Honda 20th Anv Souvenir's

When I left Fowlers of Bristol Honda at 17.00 today they still had two of these left for any body who did not get one on Saturday.

I would ring first and you would still be expected to bring your Blade to pick it up.

Other Showrooms did not get the delivery until Monday as well so may be worth asking I am sure there may be some spare, or watch on ebay.

I'd be seriously upset if I paid 100 notes for that. I got mine from P&H on my way up to Norfolk for a stag weekend (shocking roads in the fens but very beautiful).

Stuck it in my rucksack as a mini back protector. Still there.

 

I was not given anything as the dealer did not have anything so I contacted Honda uk as I am getting slightly grumpy in my old age explained I was annoyed and received an email yesterday that they were very disappointed for me and they would do there best to rectify the problem ...... I wait in anticipation and am impressed with Honda bothering to even reply to my rant

I feel bad now for not posting this as I have to say a big thank you to Honda UK who not only appologised but sent me a T shirt, Aluminium water bottle and a Bottle of Honda bike wash !
