so do I, if I thought about comfort I would go back to my duke as it's more comfortable than the blade.
My back dictates that about a tank full of juice is just about my limit of tolerance on the 'Blade. On the Ducati, my leathers had cut off the circulation from my knees down long before that.
No both old, 1996 750ss and an 02 954. As I relax on the 'Blade I tend to put more and more pressure on my wrists, which isn't the most comfortable posture defect, but an ongoing sciatica problem makes the saddle feel like concrete after a while. The Ducati was dinky but the pegs were up near my ears so putting my feet down after a stretch on the motorway was like someone pouring boiling water down my boots.
havent rode the older one's but can def say the 848/1098 etc is easier on the wrists and back than the blade
Are you joking?? the newer ducatis i have ridden are the most uncomfy bikes ever throw you right over the tank, and dont get me started on my mates 999s
999's are the old ones, I find the blade has you perched up on top with the weight on your wrists.the duke has you sat lower to the bars which is easier.I rode a lap of ireland in mine no problem but the first day I had the blade I took it for a 200 mile blast and my back and wrists were aching, I also get pins and needles in my hands now which is a first for me.Im getting used to it but it is def a more extreme riding position.my father has rode both and he thought my duke was a more natural sitting position...and he's 75
2 things; Firstly, This has got to be the most misleading headline of the year. And, If they persist with that ridiculous 'Flash Gordon' zoorst, it may turn out to be entirely prescient.
1098 is more comfy than the blade IMO Which really surprised me, its a little roomier, not to say the blade was uncomfortable it wasn't, have read the older Ducati bikes were more uncomfortable.
