I love the buy now and pay unto a year later interest free add..Then you find out what you don't pay back goes to double the interest rate of paying straight away on finance
I know 2 lads who bought them at the same time In 09 for a blade and a yam. They both sold their bikes last year and both are still paying for the wheels. I personally wouldn't be getting £2500 finance for wheels!
£2500 isn't really that bad for a set of carbon wheels. The retail on my PVM's is E1900 plus delivery, so for argument sake, lets say E2000, so in todays money, that's £1750.
I love the "buy now and pay upto a year later ,interest free " advertisement ..You then find out what you don't pay back goes to double the interest rate compared to the 3 year plan making payments monthly from the beginning of the agreement Is that better fella ?
It's always the same story, people buy things they can not afford to pay for, that's what caused the recent recession globally!!! My partner works for a cosmetic surgery company, she regularly gets girls coming in for consultations on boob jobs for £4,500 etc. They want to pay for it on finance over 3 or 5 years however they haven’t even got 10% deposit to put down (i.e. £450). What hope have they got of paying the finance company back on a monthly basis if they haven’t even been able to save up £450 prior to the operation!!! What happens if they suddenly loose their jobs etc. Even worse some of them don't even work - students etc People are very irresponsible when it comes to managing their finances - or is it they just take the piss because they just don't care and have the attitude of someone else will end up picking up the tab!!! OR maybee I've got it all wrong!!!
You can buy a new Gsxr with a £1 deposit. That's frightening. After you ride it away it's lost a grand straight away so right away your in negative equity on a 10 grand bike!
That's a good point. Maybe I'll get a moob reduction, save on a lot of bench pressing and I'll get a better tuck behind the windscreeen
