Having had two lots of surgery on a major nerve from my spine 15 months ago, the problem returned to haunt me and I was forced to accept that something a bit more upright was required and my beloved Blade had to go. Well, I got this a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it. JD
Nice bike mate! No matter what I ride I feel most at home on sit up bikes like my Z and the XJR... glad your still cracking on with two wheels..
Yeah do mate, I'll get that Z out and we can go for a coffee and a chat, just txt me mate and I will make time for it!
As i am not a Blade snob i would like to say nice bike hope you enjoy it and please stick around'' its all good''
Lovely. i hope you get better tyre life from the drc's than im getting on the blade. done about 1500 miles and i doubt they will see 2500
Thanks guys, appreciate the comments, and I'll be sticking around the forum for sure, love it. Remal, there are a number of differences, Daytona front forks, better rear shock (more adjustment) radial brakes etc., but, the thing that swung it for me as I'm such a tart even at my age - the Black paint with the gold wheels Not a fan of the underseat cans, so I had the Arrow 3 into 1 fitted, the sound on over-run is spine-tingling (no pun intended lol). Fez, I'm not expecting great results mileage-wise out of the drc's either, had them on my Gixer and whilst I did like them, the rear didn't last long. JD
Remal, sorry mate, I misread your post. Tried both bikes, just found the Street more enjoyable and easier to ride, lighter and far more flickable. I reckon in the twisties there wouldn't be much in it. JD
