Having had two lots of surgery on a major nerve from my spine 15 months ago, the problem returned to haunt me and I was forced to accept that something a bit more upright was required and my beloved Blade had to go. Well, I got this a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it.

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments, and I'll be sticking around the forum for sure, love it. Remal, there are a number of differences, Daytona front forks, better rear shock (more adjustment) radial brakes etc., but, the thing that swung it for me as I'm such a tart even at my age - the Black paint with the gold wheels :) Not a fan of the underseat cans, so I had the Arrow 3 into 1 fitted, the sound on over-run is spine-tingling (no pun intended lol). Fez, I'm not expecting great results mileage-wise out of the drc's either, had them on my Gixer and whilst I did like them, the rear didn't last long.

Remal, sorry mate, I misread your post. Tried both bikes, just found the Street more enjoyable and easier to ride, lighter and far more flickable. I reckon in the twisties there wouldn't be much in it.
