A lot here got a bulk buy of the G I pro mate. They can't fault them. It just plugs into the diagnostic plug under the battery.

I agree with Icarus about the counting to six. But they do look the part.

Really easy to fit, takes minutes. Plug it in program it which is just a case of riding the bike and that's it.

If not? Try looking at the Acuman.

They do a kit which plugs in the back of your clocks. Saves the guess work of cutting wires IMO.

About £25 extra. But worth the peace of mind?

    That the one phantom.
Thought I'd mentioned that on post three.
    Plugs into diagnostics don't it?
Which I am lead to believe is a pain?

Not much difference. My mates GIpro is a little more compact. And as said more direct.

The Accuman is slower to respond. Not by much.

    For example.
Sat at traffic lights the GIpro will tell you the gear.

The Accuman display just spins until moving.

So long as it looks the part. That's all that matters ;)

Yeah I got one just fitted on my RR5, and once you find the DLC (not under the seat on a RR5) its dead easy to fit, just plug and play, and works a treat for all us people that can not count to 6 ;)
    I love it

I used to struggle counting to six, so bought a 2012 fireblade instead.

The GPDS only fits the RR 'Blades from 04 on. Yours needs the GPX-H01, it plugs into the speedo sensor and there is a single wire to connect to the tacho signal, you can solder this connection but there is a mini, gel filled snap connector supplied with the kit so you don't have to.
Oh and there is a forum discount available if you buy from us :)
