Scott oiler question

    Just got home from work and found the Scott oiler pipe had been rubbing away on the rear tyre. So I've cut it back and repositioned it, but found a length of thin wire in the tube at the end. Does anyone know if it's been put in there just for angling purpose or is it in there to controll the flow.

    Probably a bit of both mate. I you go onto their website the sell spares. Won't cost much to replace.

    It's no prob I'll get some tubing from work tomorrow and re do it all on my next block of off days

    It's for getting the right angle bend in the pipe and holding it in position.
