Anybody had one fitted? What did you pay? Padgetts have quoted me £475 fitted. Arthur was slightly cheaper but he's too far away. How do you rate the kit?
I've ridden with one on my 08 bike fitted by Padgetts - its only when you go to a non-HM QS bike that you realise how much it has transformed the bike. Look on it as an investment - it does not 'wear and tear' and as you get a separate bike make specific loom you can remove it and add to your next bike. I had mine re-fitted by Padgetts after I did it myself and they did a better job - it worked when I did it, but they really know their stuff. Its a way better upgrade than a can (in my opinion) and amazed not more dealers / manufacturers offer them as a dealer fit option on new bikes. Do it! You won't look back awesome bit of kit. I managed to buy a used one for £250 and fit it myself. It's a bit of a job though and I would say £475 is about right as its at least a few hrs work for a nice neat fit!
£200 off eBay for mine, keep your eyes open they do come up and are very versatile. Hm are also extremely helpful when you phone them to ask if it'll work on your bike. If you get to Cadwell on Monday come and have a chat, I'll be on a White 08 and I'm with a couple of gixxers
