I've just booked in for my first service next week, will I need to sell the family jewels to pay for it?

Just had mine done today, £125 from Honda of Bournemouth, looked at my records and it was only £32.50 for my 04 Blade, they only charged for the Oil and filter, labour was added this time.

When I bought mine from Grantham I negotiated a free first service. Don't ask you don't get!

Honda used to provide free labour only at first service but dropped it a couple of years ago. It's now at the discretion of the dealer and comes out of the dealers pocket.

Just to return to this old thread, I have just picked up the blade from the first service and it cost £100 dead. And the bike now needs a clean? It has oily finger marks all over, especially the orange wheels,

    Happy with the service though:)
