Hi, has any of you guys 'n' gals heard of or used a Tutoro chain oiler? It's seaming excellent and got best buy award in Ride! It is mega cheap to only £17.50 for dual injector model . I'm thinkin of buying a couple 1 for my trusty noble winter steed (Honda CB1) and the other for my Blade. Would be grateful for any views on this little number. Cheers Regards Trev.
Yeah I had a scottoiler on my CBR600 never had a problem either but it got best buy in the Ride awards 2011 beating the both scottoiler systems and prices start at £15 single feed, £17.50 twin feed and £28 for delux model and it less intrusive does'nt connected to engine it gravity fed and you can turn it off n on when you want it also use any oil including gear oil! Am just curious to if anyone used one or anyone who has.
Morning Bladers! Right Im up and ready to go. today is the day I fit my scottoiler to me new blade. I am a touch concerned about cutting into pipes tbh. Any tip on fitting, routing etc on a 2011 blade. Enjoy your weekend
Tbh these have no interest to me as a squirt of wax every blue moon keeps the chain in tip top condition and i have never had to replace one . Perhaps ok if you are doing the long haul stuff .Soz.
omg! ive come bck for lunch! I don't believe how complicated the bodywork is compared to my 900RRV its like a rubiks cube (ok, I now know removing the fairing was useless for fitting a scottoiler! I just assumed id be able to get to the vacuum hoses from the sides as per 900...im guessing im wrong and that I need to remove the tank?! Its all so packed in and so many plastic clips...Ill be surprised if They last 15 years like the last one! Any rapid responses regarding tank removal will be great? cheers
Then i suppose this rules out about 90% of these dudes.I don't doubt what so ever the qualitys ,but for a sports bike not to sure.
Had the Scottoiler on all of my bikes. I'm just lazy though, I can't stand cleaning the grease off from the dry lube spray. With the scottoiler it just wipes away when cleaning as usual.
The units should work just like the scottoiler system but I think I would have trouble remembering to switch it off every time I stopped and end up with a rear tyre covered in oil!
I tried using them but no matter what setting I used they always made a mess so I chucked mine in the bin and went back to the castrol wax.
I find the "trick" with ScotOilers is to set the flow very low (maybe about a sixth of the way round the dial).
I think that uber graphite block thing you told me about is gona be the best thing! Expensive but worth it!
