Can the biting point be adjusted on an RR7? I.e. on cable-operated clutches I could turn the adjusters to move the biting point in relation to the lever travel, as I like the biting range to be smack-bang in the middle of the lever travel. Can the same be done on a hydraulically-operated clutch?
Get some click/adjustable levers, same as the others no the hydrolic clutch can not be adjusted there is a cable convertion kit but its about £550.00 by a chap in germany (Durbahn), hes a crazy dude but makes some real nice stuff! Does the 07 bike not come with an adjustable clutch lever, the same as the front brake, my 04 bike does? Is that not the same moving a cable clucth?
Cheers for the replies all... thought as much. Yes but that just adjusts the reach... I want to adjust the bite within a given reach. Having looked about the only thing you can do is shorten then master cylinder push rod or the clutch slave cylinder push rod... sounds like too much effort.
kin ell fella has that been used?? just that little bit of carbon and sprocket gets me dribbling ,very nice
That's durbahns but I like mine clean too....lol and yeah I use it but like to keep the old girl clean, I have Brembo RCS clutch slave with Brembo low drag levers, more adjustment than you can poke a stick at....lol RCS is 19-18/20 super easy to pull on 18! Same shot of my bike for you....lol
Cheers mate.. Just noticed that the iPad has learned how to swear.....pmsl, it did not get that from me I never swear....lol much.....lol
