Forgot to say in my last post that i had a tussle with two Boy Racers They were having there own race when i joined them and i thought i will have some of that ,any how as we all out to the next Round about the white car went right but the Red one took off so game on ,:sarcastic:as we got to the next roundabout the car went sideways by about 2 ft and then recovered so we were then side by side heading for another roundabout and i did him on the brakes and then game over brought a nice grin to my face and a nice smell of his hot brakes in the nosrils .Have you any recent clashes ?

Came up to a set of traffic lights recently, Coming on to a fast A road, I was the first there and then low and behold a bright yellow lamborgini gallardo pulled up next to me! Game on!!!! I looked at him as he was staring at my bike, And heard him blip the throttle, lights went green and I let him pull away a bit until about 50ish when I opened up , I kept on going and then checked my mirrors and could'nt see him. 20 seconds later when I was at a decent cruising speed he pulled alongside and gave me a thumbs up, He stayed behing me for at least 50odd miles until I needed some fuel, He pulled in behind me and got out and said he was flat out in 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th but had to let me go when things got a little hairy! Just goes to show how a 11 grand bike can easily out gun a 130k car!!!

Yes i find it very strange that the dudes with the really fancy motors which by rights should give you a proper run in general don't even bother and just pull to the side i have to say i have never had a do with one but the Boys with the Evo's well thats a different matter i had a good do last year near me which is fast roads with loads of roundabouts but pretty quite ish ,Anyhow we tagged on and when it came to roundabouts he was like he was on rails and i could do no more but catch him at the next roundabout and thats how it went until we both landed at the last one and he went left and i went right but fair play it was awesome to see a car wizz around like a scalelectric toy and i was on the limit .

I remember beating a Porche Boxster off the ligthts when I had my Honda Hornet 600, I think he was surprised. Quite nippy the old Hornets.

I rebuild turbos for a living. So anyway This nonce came to our works to see if he could upgrade his turbo anymore. This was at 4:30 on a friday. we close at 4:45. so anyway He left about 5 minutes before me and i caught him up at the A31 (M27) at which point he tried to leave me (Nissan Skyline R34 putting out aprox 660bhp) anyway, He ate my exhaust fumes. I found it quite funny considering he had spent in excess of 30K modding his car and i spent 5K on my bike.

does anyone still get challenges from stupid cars anymore

got the come on from a focus ST the other day

i thought might aswell - but instead of handing him is ass - i just stayed right next to him - matchin his speed

he was really nailing the throttle and gear changes (trying really hard)

then when we reach 120 - i waved, changed up and left him for dead on the by-pass

him and his mates looked gutted

me i couldnt stop smiling - althoug he wouldnt have know that (black visor)

I won't get egged onto racing others. But do enjoy a brisk acceleration from the lights to the speed limit or pulling over to let some daft boy/girl racer hammer past me. they filter past them at the next set of lights.

I agree. It's nice when they get level with you again at the next lights and you give them your best "would you like me to do that to you again" grin.

I had a "nearly" on the way home the other night on, what Exeter City Council still have the nerve, after peppering it with traffic lights and pelicans, to call the city bypass. A tricked out scooby pulled up beside me just as I was about to pull away, which I did, relatively swiftly up to the massive 40mph "bypass" speed limit and then shut off. This must have upset the scooby pilot because he screamed past me, wastegate wheezing then cut me up, not scarily so, but enough to let me know he meant it. He then struggled for a bit to find me in his mirror, rubbernecking quite comically and then actually flinched when he clocked me looking at him through his side window. So I laughed at him and demonstrated for him some thrust to weight calculations in a rather practical fashion with the front wheel pawing at the air.

    It's the little things...

Love some of the stories on here, I always enjoy the reading. I love the memory of a race im about to share with you one of my favourite moments yet on two wheels. I had a blistering race with a Lambo and a Ford GT 40 driven by the movie star hotness of all women. She was stunning! Anyways down the A33 and ive just cruised through Basingstoke and come to the roundabout just before the fast part of the dual carriageway starts and there these two beauties were. Going side by side and i have to say the noise was amazing! There were 10 of us all on K6's, ZX10R's (05 Model), Hayabusa and Blades. I got right up behind the GT40 and man that thing was putting out not only some serious noise but also some serious heat, I mean I was baking. Then the down shifts start and you just know its on, 2nd selected and laying as aerodynamically on the tank as possible and think to myself today is not that day where for the first time I get done by four wheels especially the GT40 being driven by the Miss Hotness! Engine's revving high from the two super cars and all the bikes close in not wanting to much of a gap to start off with........GO! Throttle pinned as the two cars take off, man that GT40 flew! 05 model ZX10R is right up her arse waiting to get by and then she moves over in front of the Lambo and gives it everything she's got......and so did we!! I had mine on the limiter in no time showing that fabulous top three figure number with the ZX10R right next to me with the GT40 having already left my peripheral vision. Once we finished the long straight we all stopped at the end and we were pretty much altogether bar one or two. The GT40 and Lambo weren't miles away though and when I saw her get out I thought holy shit...! Even the girl that rode with us (RIP Liz) I think thought wow!! She was American and I'll never forget the words that first came out of her mouth............."Holy shit those things are really fast"! Just love it I absolutely loved that mad 5 mins or whatever it was and I still get that buzz when I think of passing both cars and getting to the roundabout first!

Although it is fun going up against cars that can give you a fair race, I can't help but love it when the hot hatch/scooter brigade have a go.

They do try so hard, but there is nothing like matching their speed whilst watching them crash through their gearbox, then give em a little wave and pin it!

I've got a hot hatch. I've always had hot hatches. I've just never been stupid enough to take on one of you nut jobs in them.

Interesting thing about scooters mind. They will have a go. They're like Jack Russells , eying up a pit bull then deciding "you'll do". You can't help but have a grudging respect for them. Plus, when you do grind one into your wake you feel a bit of a pillock for doing it.

There's even a guy in Exeter with a full Rossi replica one.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts...
