The more i look into the for sale section the more i see the HRC or the white blades RR8 onwards the more i want one.. Never been up and close to the newer blades..and i am sure they are great bikes and more fun to ride over the RR5 most would say... Just that i loved the RR5 shape..and the orange is just loooverly...
I'm confused. You want an HRC RR8, but you love your RR5. Why not paint the RR5 the same colour as the RR8?
let not talk about painting...i sold my red rr5 that was a month old to get the repsol... I am beginning to like the shape of the newer blades..
I like the shape of them too, but, for me, they're just that little bit smaller than the 04-07 shape.
If it helps I am in the same position lol. I just bought my RR4 a little over a month ago and I'm already wanting a 8+. Wife would kill me.....
I remember sitting on the new RR8 when it came out and had to lean over to check was it a Blade or 600,Bn 6'2 i think it would get uncumfy very quickly.
I was the same after a month looking at the 08 and the missus was like ahhh!! but now its pasted the RR5 is a top bike even more now i have the power commander fitted
I like the RR8 + because size wise they are very close to my 954 and at 5ft 7 my bike suits me perfectly, it really does feel (and look) like a 600, so the newer blade is right up my street. I found the 04-07 a bit long and wide for me, the 954 just felt right, as does the current bike.
I love the early blades but it was not until 2008 that I seen the new blades and then in the flesh at a trackday Silverstone Just loved the shape and said I would get one, one day. And so glad I did ,
