What clutch fluid do i use to top up my bike..

The reservoir is empty - due to me falling off the bike recently..so i do not need a great deal.

is it the same as brake fluid?

Yep, dot4 will be fine, car, bike all much the same...ideally you should flush the system/drain it and use all of one type but most don't bother and it does not seem to cause a problem, however I would drain it all and refresh the lot.

You need to bleed it through in much the same way as the brakes.

Fairly easy to drain, best way is to undo the hose top and bottom and let drain out, takes about 100ml, try YouTube for help videos mate....if stuck ask, at least it's your clutch so you will learn from a fairly lesser safety item....lol

    Down by the front sprocket.

It's circular shape with a hose/banjo going into it & a bleed nipple attached to it.

guessing i have air in the system, as the clutch is not engaging - cant get the biting point and it just stalls.

You shouldn't need to remove any fairing if my memory is correct.

I the first picture you can see the HEL line going into it with the bleed nipple on top, the second photo is a further away shot.

Quick tip sam, when ya start bleeding the new fluid through, start with the banjo at the top, next to the reservoir. Air tends to get trapped there, then bleed it from the bottom nipple.
