On the way back home last night we got pulled over by domestic police in an estate skoda.We were coming onto a dual carriageway and pulled hard probably up to a ton.The little critters were behind a lorry and pulled out and chased us.We pulled over where they checked our details and gave us a warning.Anyone had one and is it a serious thing to have against your bike and name?
OMG not a section 59...they weren't police mate, they were aliens trying to abduct you for anal probing. Where they greys?? lol
You dont seem sure of what you where pulled for ? Is it just there opinion of how fast you were going? ie did the car have any video equipment ect.

A blonde and a brunette petite WPC's they were.They said they were doing 120 to catch us up.They could'.nt give us a speeding ticket cos they have no evidence of speeding but they can warn us of driving with undue care and attention. Fuck it.It was the first time I've been handed a slapped wrist and my licence is still clean so I'm glad they were lenient with us.
Just dont lend your bike to anybody as it wont be coming back if they get caught messing around on it
mate, it's Kents fine upstanding Police force using their latest blunt force trauma tool when they can't get you for anything else they can prove, much more fun to seize your vehicle than give you a paltry 3 points and 60 quid fine

I have had one or two over the years, apparently they can take your vehicle and crush it if you get more than 2, just sell it when you get your 2nd one and start again with a new bike mate thats all I did as its on the vehicle not you.

Site post _ Section 59 of the Police Reform Act – Anti Social Driving OffencesNew laws in respect of certain anti social driving offences can now be dealt with by Section 59 of the Police Reform Act. Basically what that means is if you are seen: Driving in a careless or inconsiderate manner Driving on common land, a footpath or bridle way or any land which is not part of a road Driving in a manner which is causing/has been causing, or is likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public. Then a Section 59 warning can be issued to you. This warning is placed against both the driver and the vehicle and lasts for 12 months. If the driver of the vehicle or the vehicle with the warning issued to it is then seen driving in any of those conditions again in the next 12 months the vehicle can be seized and, if not collected after paying for recovery and storage costs, it will be crushed. Please note that this relates to either the driver with the Section 59 or the vehicle.
It also extends to the point that if someone is driving the vehicle thats marked and they commit a Section 59 offence then your vehicle is seized and vice versa, if you are driving someone elses vehicle and you have the marker, then their vehicle will be seized. This legislation is being used inappropriatley in many cases for 2 resaons, 1. They could not prove any offence that would stand up in a court of law, but Section 59 is based on the plods opinion only and you have no right of appeal, it was introduced to curb anti social behaviour ie racing up and down public footpaths on mini motos, doughnuting around Tescos car park on a Friday night etc, but are now using it when they cannot fill their fixed penalty quotas. 2. They realise certain age drivers, 3 points has no effect on you if you have clean license, ie insurance etc. But this really fcuks you off. No wonder the general public have lost trust and faith in our law enforcement agencies.
i think it was just a excuse for them to floor it at 120 mph !!! we got police in bristol that speed all the time ! i even got puled over for doin 28 mph in a 30 they said i was drivein to slow mmmmmmmmmmm but where i was doin 28 the week before young kid got run over and died and its on a canfer if thats how you spelll it i told them that and they got pissy so gave me a breatherizer wankers !!! when they went they was waitin for me down the road so when i came down the road they floored it up the road so i hat to stop no run THERE SOME COPPER WANKERS im sore most of them shag it other TWATS
I was the other ASBO reciever with sideways on that night seeing if we could reach 70 before joining the main road or was it 70???? and i think one of the pc's hit the nail on the head when she said and i qoute " I've only pulled you over because i'm jelous, my family won't let me ride a bike as they think me joining the police force is dangerous enough" and that was her words!!! Typical she aint getting none so she takes it out on us. all she had to do was ask. lol
