Have i disconnected the correct hose?

 

No!

If you look through the bike you'll see like a saucer shape diaphragm behind the radiator.

Disconnect the hose that goes into that and plug it.

Hope that makes sense??

That's it mate, in the middle of the bike between the radiator & engine.

i have just done mine. but mine is the abs 2011 mod with the cable had to mess with the motor to get the engine man light off but ok now

 

Did mine last week plug it with M5 bolt i think or M6 and yeah the hose in near the rad as ray said then took it out of the way

 

You can just pull off the cable at the grey connector which does the job

 

He's doing the intake mod, you've done the exhaust mod I think

 

much difference with the 08 on models when its done?

 

Intake flapper mod is different (slightly trickier) on 08+ and it does nothing AFAIK (apart from free up some space inside the fairing for HID ballast or similar).
