    They where brilliant over Bristol the other weekend

    a great team and a very sad loss

    thoughts to the family and other air crew

    They blew over my house in ragged formation at low level the other week and I considered it a privilege to be able to see them do it.

    and as you would expect from such a professional

    they think he died because he didnt bale out - making sure he missed the houses and people

    and he did a combat tour in the stan

    what a guy

    R.I.P John Egging, known to us Royals as "The Birds". Provided some fantastic shows and entertained at a high level of professionalism.

    Whenever you see them in action makes you proud to be British, as it proves beyond a shadow of doubt we have the best pilots in the world.

    R.I.P John Egging, you died doing something you loved, but more importantly gave your own life to save others. A true hero!
