Just back from a 70 mile ride and it performed perfectly at 95%. I guess it's trial and error though. Will keep tweaking!
Am currently saving for one, although have no idea how much they cost with fit, from someone like our arthur (??), but me and the hubby to be have talked this one over, and i've agreed to drop a bridesmaid or two from our planned wedding in exchange for a quickshifter haha Sounds fair to me.
I have my shifter set to 55 and works great in 2st-5th gear. It dont shift into 6th every time tho, prob 8 out of 10 shifts go into 6th. Can i ask what people have there shifters set to?
The only way to set the shifter is by using the LCD display, when it's set correctly it should show SHIFT just as the lever loads up the gearbox, slightly later the gear should select the gear, in other words when you shift you should see SHIFT on the LCD at the same time, adjust the sensitivity until this happens, too sensitive and it will show SHIFT before it selects the gear not enough sensitivity and it will show SHIFT after it selects the gear..
looks like you owe me a beer , i told my mate about your auto throttle blipper he just sent me a message he just ordered 2 x HM shifters and 2 x auto blippers , 1 for his RC8R and 1 for his 848 EVO :-}}
No that's a fair point it's not expensive....is compatible with the blade ecu then, as I note it says " This system is supported*by some programmable ECU's." Cheers
It is and there maybe others Im not aware off currently, supported by these - MoTeC, Pectel, 2D and motor Morelli.

Many on here are a fair weather riders including myself. one thing u will like about the blade is the mid range grunt of the thing. not need to have to rev the nuts off the thing. over 4k and it's very fun indeed
hi Ben and Arthur, I have recently purchased a hm quickshifter what i wanted to know is it able to be fitted by a non trained mechanic, if so is it easy to set up. any tips or tricks would be appreciated. thanks in anticipation.
I did mine myself......... But what a pig of a job it was! It's fairly easy though the shifter is just plug and play really. The real problem is tank off fairings off throttle body cover off etc etc etc took me about 7hrs all in. If I'm Honest looking back I would have got Arthur to do it for me!
Hi mate, fitting is easy, all that's needed is access to the plug top coils to plug in the small sub loom for the shifter, the bad news is getting to them! The other job is to fit the sensor and new shift rod to your gear lever, then some setup time, very easy! My device as always is take time, lay out fixings in order, take more time, place panels and parts in an order so you can remember how things go back together and again take your time you can also use a camera to help take memos. There are videos on YouTube and help guides online to strip air boxes and panels etc, that's the hard part removing the airbox to gain access to the plug top coils! Also myself and HM are always on hand to help no matter where you buy..
I think it might be a good idea for us to do some fitting videos??? These surely would be of benefit to many, something to ponder. As Arthur said, we are here to help
I need one of these fitting but your so far away and I don't fancy fitting it myself - It's trusting somebody to do it right!
