I feel very sorry for the poor lad on his brand new 20k Tricolour? Panigale when 3 Blades left him for dust today. And before anyone says it the rider was def trying to get a shift on - ask Giv and Andy for details. Sadly not on film to capture - his rear light looked trick, front lights from my mirrors less so....
Brilliant! I was out with a panigale today and it certainly does shift but it never loses me. Cant say i've ever out run him but then I suspect that's the riders fault.
Not a panigale but I left a 998 and a TL1000 in my mirrors today after overtaking them between swindon and Didcot.
I feel sorry for anyone that buys one - EVERY other sports bike will try and race / out handle / out pose / perform you. But Mr Panigale one tip - don't run people off roundabouts onto the gravel, its not nice
Don't feel too sorry for them - they open the garage door to this... Personally I wouldn't mind that target on my back either if it meant I had one, stunning machine....
That was it - need to get a DVR / CCTV type recorder (like what the Police use) fitted to my bike so I can 'start / stop' recording on the fly and select front or rear camera - how hard can that be to setup?
I can keep up and lead a ride with loads of brand new sports bikes on my 12 year old 929.............. The 10 just makes it so much easier before the size of my bollocks gives up. If I could justify the money I'd have one, stunning. Bit like good looking birds, might not be the best in bed but you look good hanging out of the back of them!
It is a lovely looking bike I agree, and I wouldnt say no if I was given. But Im not sure if id like it for my daily commute as well as weekend windies!
Some times I ride my bike I just take it easy, when people pass me I know what they think, look at that twat whys he got that thing, he only rides like a fairy....lol you do know you don't have to do 180mph all the time you know...lol
Same here Arthur let your track riding do the talking Anyone can ride fast in a straight line. Panigale 0-100 6.39 seconds Blade 2011 0-100 5.41 seconds
Ferrari 0 Fireblade 1 Nothing like passing an expensive car like that but fair play to him he really went for it.
Had a similar run in with a gt2 911 he blew away my mate on his zx6 but couldn't believe me going passed him.He caught me on the corners and roundabouts though they stick to the road bloody well.
Think he loved it. He new i was up for it when couldn't get away and decided that it was best he got out of my way not sure on speed but 12.5k in 6th.
Had a good blat against Mark Renshaw (Tour de France cyclist) heading to Monaco - him in his GT3 / GT4 - stopped at some lights and had a good chat - he knew how to drive that thing.
