Rear suspension top linkage bearing issue?

    I've just been to York to see my mate and every single time I go to his house I always notice something wrong with my bike :D

    This time it was noticing that the rear suspension reservoir thing was pointing slightly to the left. ie it wasn't totally in line with the rear tyre. Upon closer inspection it's got a fair amount of left to right play on it. I presume that it's supposed to be locked solid with no play.

    Anyone know?

    Would anyone with an 04 / 05 be able to have a look at their bike and see if there's any left to right play on the rear shock? I can't tell whether it's intentional [​IMG]

    Ah cool. Sounds like it's intentional movement. I did wonder with it being a spherical bearing.
