most of you will know my bro in law recently passed his test - scrimped and saved for a lovely k7 600 which he has had for three months, has been riding it really well, loving the bike thing he had waited years to do and was obviously his pride and joy... scumbags just lifted it into a transit under cctv - no body stopped them or even called the police. he's gutted to say the least. gsxr600 k7 in blue - keep your eyes peeled for parts or fairing panels on ebay etc please chaps. would love to catch the f*ckers!! he had changed the suzuki logo on the belly pan to a red outline one which would easily tell it apart from others.
Sorry to hear - new rider making a claim will be painful on insurance when he gets his next bike.. where did it go missing from? were they caught on cctv?
+1 what Sam said about the insurance. Bad news and horrible start to owning a bike. Really feel for the lad. Post some pictures up if you can Jimbo so we can keep an eye out.
In this day and age you would think CCTV would keep your bike safe and many other things.. i was thinking of CCTV outside my house..but we are reminded again and again the thieves don't give a shit, the worst thing is neither do the police!
bastards, ive had 2 nicked both from home/parents going round corner to see up n over garage door up is gutting, esp galling when youve worked hard n put so much effort n lavished attention on her for some cunt then to steal that and then make money on the back of it makes my fucking blood boil! same as the lowlife who tried it on at the ducati dealership in croyden nowt but fucking scum! sorry rant over, just pisses me off when i hear stuff like this happening.......
i know - mate he is absolutely gutted!! his one peice finally turned up yesterday too - didnt even get a chance to try it out....
Not as bad, but I was taken home from work ill last week and left my cycle chained to the cycle shed, came in on Monday to find it gone chain cut, later found the fence cut top to bottom so my £675 bike gone. that feels bad but if I found my Blade gone Fcuk.
Really sorry to hear that Jimbo will keep an eye on ebay and will mention it on the other forum i go on gutted for the lad he was so proud of the bike on sunday and excited for his new leathers coming
I echo what the boys have said Jimbo and really feel sorry for the lad ,I repeat to all on here as discussed about parking up at a shopping centre in Essex ''Leave it lose it'' lets hope 100% ,that some use will come of the cctv footage.
Just spoke to him - checked insurance and he had commute cover thank god as it was stolen from his work. He is based in dartford college and it was taken out of the staff carpark!! Unreal hey... Feel so gutted for him, he finally got the bike sorted and some pikey scum nicks it within 3 months of owning it. 8 mins before he went to go home!! Cnuts
