to add a few questions. I will be running Dunlop D211 GP racers which I am getting fitted soon as my Sportsmarts are at the end of their life. is it worth buying a set of wets just in case it's crap weather. I know a spare set of wheels would be ideal but at £500+ i'm not going to get some just yet So worth taking a set of wets if needed? and get them fitted at the track? if it's a good idea where is best to buy wets from?
COCK IT Anyone booked for Mallory this Friday? Just had a call from FD, sorry day cancelled !!!! Me "why cancelled"? FE: "because of noise Issues, but we can book you in for the Sat" me "only reason I did not book the Sat was due to the 98Db? noise limit! FE: "if you change to the Sat you will get through the test, we have talked to Mallory about it!" Me: ?????? Well I booked for the sat, have told FE that I have tested my bike and it comes through at 101-104db without the baffle in. And I was told the day was cancelled by Mallory not FE Glad i'm still doing a trackday but still unsure it it's due to lack of bookings or that it was cancelled due to noise yet it's ok for a noisy day on the Sat??? WFT
I'm 30 od miles away and while the weathers poor at the moment it's not looking too bad for Saturday, if it's dry I might pop along and say hi, I assume spectators can just pull in?

I strongly advise you get an email confirmation about the noise testing. When you arrive an fail the noise test it would be far too easy for FE to deny all knowledge of a phone call saying it will all be fine. I'm not one of the FE haters but it pays to cover yourself.
Amazing how people change what is said, not been told you Should not get any issues with getting on track. "SHOULD" I double checked twice on the phone that my bike would not have "ANY" issues. i asked this question on the FE facebook page, re noise and Mallory being cancelled. I asked in a nice way and within 2 mins it was removed, then nicely asked why it was removed and can they Pm me Got no reply and why I Phoned FE back up god I'm going to check my toys out the pram if I get any issues. but just hope I get a enjoyable day on track instead Doubt i will get a Email as they have now changed it from "won't get any issues " to it's up to you" I have now called them 3 times in 2 days, every time saying the main issue is not wasting my time. they won't know what hit them if they have fobbed me off
I'd ring Mallory and see what they say. At the end of the day it is the track that does the noise testing and the track that decides wether you ride or not. It's not actually in FE's control. If you decide to go take your standard exhaust just in case.
Will ring them in the morning. but I booked with FE and was told I won't have a issue. I paid FE my money. So they should be able to give me correct information
FE lied to me, Spoke to Mallory and seems FE are not as nice As I hoped Day cancelled fecked off royally
